More about Kate

Kate has always had an interest in Women’s Health conditions and this interest continued to grow as she began to regularly treat prenatal and postnatal women in private practice.  It was here that Kate realised there was so much to learn and teach regarding the intricacies of the always changing female body, so Kate furthered her studies in the Women’s Health industry with additional professional development courses as well as completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy through the University of Melbourne.

Kate’s passion for this population is evident in the time she takes to educate her patients to help ensure the best outcomes for all women across the lifespan. It is this passion that also played a big role in how and why Sound CBR was first created.

Outside of running her own practice and rehabbing the pelvic floors of Canberra, you’ll find Kate stealing cuddles from her sooky 34kg lapdog, enjoying newfound motherhood to Audrey & Angus, always in search of the next best coffee, and trying to sneak away with her family for a weekend of glamping in ‘Winnie’ the caravan!
